Daytime Confidential
The role of Carlotta was recast with Saundra Santiago (ex-Carmen, GL). Her first tape date was Friday, June 26th.
Apparently Daytime Confidential is reporting the actress who currently plays Carlotta was upset with the gay storyline on OLTL and she was fired and SS has been recast in the role. I loved Carlotta, the actress who played her, but I think Saundra will be outstanding in that role, in fact I have always thought of Saundra whenever I see Carlotta. Only bad thing, we don't see much of Carlotta, but maybe now with SS the role will grow. OLTL fans will be really mad because I think Carlotta had quite a following and admiration. I know I liked her too. I hope they are receptive to Saundra.
YAY!!!! Good news for Saundra at last. Wait long enough and we just might see ALL of our Santos friends back on soaps.
